Lewiston is easily accessible by car on the A82 road being only 30 minutes drive from Inverness and 45 minutes drive from the expanding Inverness airport. From the South the shorter route from Edinburgh and Glasgow is on the A9 rather than on the A82 via Fort William. The latter is a great drive but will take longer.

From Inverness take the scenic route on the A82 to Loch Ness which can be viewed from a series of parking areas on the left. You will then pass the Clansman Hotel to the right and then drive on to Drumnadrochit. Continue on through the village passing the 'green' on your left, tourist information centre / car parking area on the right and drive on passing the Morning, Noon and Night supermarket on your right. Continue on past the garage on your right and approximately 30 metres on, take a right turn into Lewiston. The cottage is approximately 150 metres on your right. See the Hillview Cottage and 24 West Lewiston signs. Open the side gates and drive under the car port for unloading luggage, shopping etc.
